In Combination: Pictures & Words Tell Our Story the Best
To Thrive and Not Merely Survive, Diversity and Engagement are Paramount
My adult son, Matt, had a massive brain hemorrhage in 2018. Early on, doctors offered little hope.
As a mother and PT, my philosophy has always been, don't give up. Persevere regardless of the struggle.
I researched and sought out any therapy approach or source I thought would help, from conventional to innovative and sometimes unheard of.
Today, Matt lives alone, drives a car, and is actively seeking to be a college professor once again.
In this video presentation, I share:
The many ways our family involved Matt in all aspects of life and the process of getting better.
Key things I learned on Matt's journey to recovery and what I might have done differently.
Suggestions and recommendations for clinical staff, family, friends, and the community to optimize success.
I hope you enjoy the video and walk away inspired to make a difference.
